Story:

Design Fugitives was asked to replace an aging wood statue with a contemporary design featuring the cornerstone from a decommishioned School Sisters of St. Francis property.  We played with the geometry of the adjacent wall and created a pixel pattern that dissolved unevenly as a reference to the varied thoughts and prayers offered here, as well as the consistent but unknown march of time toward eternity.  In front of this backdrop is the cornerstone; the symbol of stability and endurance rooted in faith.
